Welcome to Setting The Pace Newsletter, a weekly newsletter where I provide 1 lesson, 1 tool/resource, and 1 action to help you set the pace in your life.

Before we jump in, I wanted to ask if you could go ahead and comment on my latest episode on YouTube; it really helps with engagement and would mean a lot! ❤️

1 lesson from founder Nicola Gunby 👑

The older I get, the more I understand that we’re all trying to figure it out, and I am learning or being reminded of these lessons.

Learning to trust your intuition

Trusting yourself is sometimes not an easy thing, as we are so programmed to listen to what others think and want.

To succeed in many things in life you need to learn to trust your intuition and that gut feeling that you have.

With learning to trust, it’s always best to start small and to build this up. Trust is like a muscle that you need to build and everyone’s process is different with this, so it’s important to be kind to yourself in this process.

I believe that your intuition is the strongest thing in your body and always tells you what is right, so knowing this makes it a lot easier to trust.

1 resource

I’m such a sucker for a good resource; these are helpful tools and resources that have improved my weekly life, truly.

  1. Cliq: a community platform for UK folk👯

Feeling lonely in London? I used this app for my upcoming solo to travel to London, and it’s pretty cool since it allows you to join communities that actually meet in real life and it’s spammy like some Facebook group or random meet-up event.

Cliq is fundamentally transforming the way that we meet new people and form connections with the mission for anyone using Cliq to meet like-minded individuals whilst doing the things YOU love; are you into sound baths, book clubs, running — Cliq has the right community for you, trust me.

some of the communities at Cliq! Love this 🌟

1 action from Nicola 👑

For this last section, it’s a very, very gentle nudge to do something that will make you feel good afterward, no matter how small the action. Feel free to adapt it or make it fit your day with the least amount of resistance.

‘What do you need to do for your future self today’?

We love this one!

If you’ve read this far, thank you!

Until next Friday,
